The name “Raudii” refers to a battle between the Cimbri people who founded Veronese culture and the Roman legions.The motifs on the label reflect their gold-smithing traditions.

Style: dry red wine
Grape varieties: Corvina Veronese 80%, Merlot 20%
Location: From vineyards located in the foothills near Verona, at an altitude of
between 100 and 200 meters Soils vary from limestone to clay.
Vineyard: Double pergola, pruned to 22 buds per vine.
Average age of vines: 20 to 25 years.
Planting density: 2,700 vines per hectare
Yield per hectare: 80 hectolitres.
Harvest: by hand, mid to late September.
Vinification: 100% destemmed before gentle pneumatic pressing.Fermentation at 25° to 28°C in stainless steel. Maceration for 10 days with automated treading 3 times a day for 20 minutes. Complete malo-lactic fermentation, then matured in barrel for 12 months, followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle.
Stabilization: Natural clarification and no fining or filtration.
Analysis: Actual alcohol 13.1%, Residual reducing sugars 7.30 g/l,Total acidity 5.20 g/l,Total dry extract 26 g/l, pH 3.45.
Cellaring: It can be kept for up to 10 years, ideally at a constant 14-15°C, laid down and in the dark.
Colour: ruby red with garnet reflections.
Bouquet: spicy with hints of vanilla and red and black cherries.
Flavour: smooth and well-rounded with plummy fruit and beautifully integrated sweet tannins.
How to serve: Serve at a temperature of 18°-19°C in very large glasses. Uncork the bottle at least 1 hour in advance.
Food matching: A fine companion for all meat dishes, especially grilled and braised, and with mature cheeses.
