Giovanni Barba has undertaken a major project involving the restructuring of many aspects of their winemaking.

The result has been a dramatic and ongoing improvement in the quality of their produce, so much so that they are possibly the best value wines on this list.

The Montepulciano “Colle Morino”, fermented and aged in big oak casks, is packed with character and personality: fleshy and mouth filling on the palate and with a powerful berry nose.
